Hi, I am James Paulgaard, a fellow traveller on the journey of life.  I cannot remember a time when I did not believe in God, but there have been seasons when I journeyed on a path very far from God.  I have discovered that it is far better to follow God than to follow my own ways.  The more I learn about life with God the more I realize how little I know… and maybe that is the best place to be.

I call this blog “my great recycling project” for I am “recycling” sermons, bible studies, papers and other content which I have created while going to university or seminary (1997-2003) or while serving in pastoral ministry (2003-present).  Most of this content was organized or created for the purpose of sharing the Good News of life, forgiveness and healing through Jesus Christ.  It doesn’t do that when it is sitting in storage on my computer’s hard drive.  So my hope and my prayer is that, through this blog, these words will continue to communicate that Good News message and be a blessing and an encouragement to you in your journey!
