The Good Shepherd & the Gate

Bombarded by scammers and opposing opinions on true paths to health and wholeness, we are naturally skeptical. How do we know who really has our best interests at heart? The One who laid down his life for us to give us eternal life with him. Let’s listen to his voice and follow him. (Based on John 9 & 10.)

Starting Strong 4: Perseverance

Jesus will help you to live a life that inspires and encourages others. He will help you to persevere through all the dangers and trials you will face. And Jesus will be with you to give you the power, love and self-discipline you need to think clearly, love dearly, and endure hardship.

Starting Strong 3: Focus

As we live our lives focused on Jesus, he will work in our lives and weave them into the grand story he is writing and make it part of the beautiful tapestry of renewal and hope that he is creating.

Starting Strong 2: Training

Training in godliness helps us to discern truth from lies and create habits of holiness that help us stay on track as we follow Jesus into forever. As we grow in godliness, then we can help others train in godliness. This helps them to become more like Jesus, and then they can help others, and so on, and so on. And that’s how the Kingdom of God grows.

Restoration from Shame

Realizing the futility of relying on his own knowledge and strength, Peter came to a place of fully relying on Jesus and his knowledge and strength. That reliance on Jesus would carry Peter through all the highs and lows of the remainder of his life, and it will carry you too!

Servant Leadership

Dear friends, the way that we use our power to lead and influence is very important, but please remember that the Way of Love is not about perfection. It’s about grace. There was room in the Way of Love for Peter, who also had pride in his heart, but he gave it to Jesus and Jesus replaced it with a greater love. So there is room in the Way of Love for you too.
